I'd bet on it. The Outback was competitive until the final minutes. Plus, the bowl cares more about drawing PSU over Pitt, etc.

Yes, the drawing power of the Big10 is much deeper than the transience of a few year's worth of bowl game results. It's just extremely unlikely that a bowl would trade the Big 10 for the Big East.
Remember, the Gator Bowl recently upped its pay from $2.2m to $2.75m, but only after acquiring a B10/SEC matchup.
However, if we work it well, we could build the Pinstripe up to being a significant bowl, on a par with something like the Outback.
