Nice pass, then run, by FIU QB Carroll.

First Down FIU at midfield, trailing 0-7

FIU gets a first down. They have to move the football because they haven't done anything with it yet.

True !!

Didn't Carroll win a bowl game before, when he was the starter for Miss. State ?

MAC known for big lines. FIU will have to utilize that Florida speed to its advantage.

I gotta' say.

I like FIU's playcalling on this drive. Toledo had been playing for the run every play this game. Wesley Carroll puts it into the hands of his better receivers and Toledo doesn't know what to think about that.

This will get Toledo to play off the line a bit and open up the run for Florida International.

Yeah, I would like to see FIU air it out a bit more as the run is not doing so well.

FIU needs to keep feeding the ball to T.Y. They didn't do that against MT, and got beat.

That 12 yard sack was devasting to FIU on this drive. That was only the first sack, but it's a huge blow for a team that has struggle to stop Toledo's offense (specifically Adonis Thomas and Eric Page.

Hopefully FIU's defense won't be as porous as the game goes on. Bowl game jitters ?

Will Toledo even pass the ball much, with this backup QB ?

But FIU has looked so inept on offense. Only three or four good plays in this game. It's 3rd and long.

I do not know if it is jitters or what. FIU must step it up if they hope to win this game.
