UCONN got a new president
http://tolland.patch.com/articles/local-...resident-3

She was in charge of all the Georgia's public colleges before this. Only bad thing is she is a Dukie and a Trojan (USC). I hope she likes football.

She got picked out of over 100 applicants. It took 6 months for the search. She is UCONN's first woman president.

Couple more interesting facts about her:

- She is young at 48
- She oversaw all the academic programs at 36 Georgia public universities.
- She is a professor at Georgia Tech
- She wrote bunch of books
- She has a 2 brothers. One of her brothers is currently president of Colgate University. Her other brother used to be a VP at NBA. He is now a VP at CBS Sports Network. I wonder if that can help with BE's next TV contract.
