Congrats indeed. Detroit is obviously the worst possible bowl scenario for you guys, however, it's still something to be celebrated and enjoyed. Any true fan will do whatever they can to be there. In 2006, I left my extended family Christmas in Atlanta a few hours early and drove back to campus. I got into Murfreesboro around 9pm Christmas night, got a frozen pizza at one of the only open gas stations in town, cooked it in an empty fraternity house, packed my bag and got on the student bus trip on campus at midnight. The bus ride was about twelve hours, we checked into our hotel around noon, we changed clothes for the game hit the casino for a bit, bar hopped for a few hours and went to the game. We ran into a buzzsaw against a superior Central Michigan team, but I still had a blast. We went out that night after the game, went back to the hotel, went to bed and the bus headed back to Murfreesboro at 9am the next day. I spent 24 hours on a bus in a 45 hour period and my team lost by 17 and I would absolutely do it again.

If you're an FIU fan, unless you literally cannot afford the trip or have a commitment that you cannot move or get out of, you will do whatever it takes to make this game.

who those guys? that was Charles Henderson High School wearing look-a-like unis. That is the only explanation I can offer seeing as how we are the only Belt team with a winning record coming out of the regular season. Thanks Middle.
