actually the ACC teaches their players how to suck in basketball and get steam rolled by more athletic Big East teams. See: SJU pummeling Duke

the problem is, the big east teams spend the season beating the crap out of each other and are totally worn down come tourney time. Whereas UNC spends the season playing juggernauts like GT, Wake, Maryland and Clemson.

But it turned out that the SEC was right all along. It just took them a while to prove it. It will turn out the same way for The BEast. Bet on it...

I'm highly concerned about Sunday... have tickets to the game at UC. Hopefully UC can get a 2nd good win over St. John's.

I'm sure they'll be good next year. They'll also be freshmen. So the early season is a big question mark - for a lot of teams. Several BEast programs are going to have a good bit of turnover next season. Not just St. John's...

certainly. i expect 2011-2012 to be a fun, roller coaster season, but i expect 2012-2013 to be a great ride. Although, the freshman could turn out to suck. Who knows, it's not like i've ever seen them play

I'm of the same opinion. A lot of teams will need important contributions from players with no experience at the college level, and certainly not at the level played in The BEast. Next season will be a very interesting one. But 2012 is shaping up to be a monster, if things work out as expected...

He has done well this year, swoosh. Much better job than he ever did at UCLA, IMO. I wonder how much of it has to do with Keady sitting on the bench helping him.
