Only 44.7 percent of Americans approve of the job the president is doing in office, according to the poll conducted Oct. 14-17, down more than two percentage points Barack, Obama, Gallup, Poll, Presidential, Approval, Ratingfrom the most recent quarter.

Only 39 percent of Americans now believe Obama deserves to be reelected, down from 48 percent earlier this year, while 54 percent said Obama does not deserve to be reelected.

The poll also shows the president’s popularity among American’s has also plummeted. For the first time, more Americans now view the president unfavorably than favorably, 50 percent to 47 percent, which is the lowest of his presidency.

The only reason this could happen is because this country is becoming more and more racist by the day.

Come February 2011 he will be lucky if it is 30%. Let a month of tax hikes get to the voters and ask them what they think then.

Just you wait and see. The Republicans win the House in November. Taxes revert to 2002 levels in January. How long will it be until some Democrat blames the Republicans for the increase? And the sad part is that there are those who will believe it. Sorry but it's just my natural pessimism coming to the fore.

With the GOP in the house everything that goes wrong will be used by Obama in 2012 during his campaign - he'll blame a GOP controlled house and the blind sheep will believe him.

Of course, that could backfire if the republicans could figure out how to make voters understand that things were just fine until the DEMOCRATS took over congress in 2007. And I'm sure that our objective media will be sufficiently fair and balanced to point that out every time they present a story about how the republican congress is hampering Obama's efforts to fix the economy. Yeah, right.

And I'm sure centrist, objective NPR (never heard that description until this week) will be leading the way in that "fair and balanced" effort.
