How is this possible?
An American citizen has been reportedly murdered, his body is missing in Mexican waters and our Federal government is not taking charge of the situation.

Too busy campaigning. But he does encouraging foreign gov'ts to file briefs against Arizona. Treasonous.

But every Republican / Conservative / Tea Partier etc on this board agrees that Job One of the American Government is to secure the borders, provide for national defense and come to the aid of Americans in need in a foreign land.

This "assistance" you mock is actually everything the damn US government should be doing.

The Mexican government initially gave permission for the US to assist in the search, but then was revoked by higher-ups in the Mexican chain-of-command. ( I'm using that term loosely) It has now been a week and the State Department is still waiting for “permission” from the Mexican government to locate the body of an American citizen. How is this possible?
