I think there would be quick lawsuits on "freedom of association"

How about just because it's against the 10th Amendment? There is absolutely nothing in the US Constitution that allows them to make this sort of law. The entire Constitution specifically shows what they can do and what they're restricted FROM doing.

Reb,

Sadly they would plug this one as 'Interstate Commerce' that and the Governments ability to levy taxes have been abused to the point of comedy.

Any business that does work outside of state lines (99.99%) will be hit.

Folks, the Senate is the only thing that can stop this type of stuff. If the Dems can find a way through the Senate, there will be a number of things like this passed by the lame duck Congress.

That's not true. It'd be workers in union shops and work under the union's CBA. It would not be "all workers."

Not that I disagree with your sentiments - I don't - but let's be honest about what's being proposed.

This is just what any Democrat Congressional Candidate in the South really WANTS to have to address in this Election.

This issue is RED MEAT to the Republicans. "Elect me and I'll keep______ a Right to Work State."

Congressman Sherman just cost the Democrats another 10 seats in the House.

Let's not forget the changes to the way unionization votes are now counted. In the past 50% + 1 of the employees to be unionized had to vote for unionization. Anyone not voting was counted as a no vote. Now only a 50% +1 vote of those voting is required.

So, the deck is being stacked more and more in favor of unionization.
