this was probably the most comprehensive research effort ever done on the question. certainly the largest survey-sample. and the british government/media/academic complex of today is so pro-homosexual, it will be difficult to claim that the study was biased against them.

Not that it's a huge difference but the article said less than 1% are gay and half a percent more are bi. About 1.5% total.

1.3%=gay, .6%=lezzy, and .6%=bi. I rounded up. either way I'd say the bisexual number is off.

Not to quibble but... 1.3% of men and .6% of women= approximately .95% total. Since there are more women in the world then men, the number would actually be less than .95% Add in the bi's, less than 1.5 total.

But the numbers seem low to me also.
