Oh, did I mention. Eliminate the DoD. Create a REAL DoD. and fun it at an appropriate level. ($50 million for a gay bomb? $2 billion for each Virginia class SSN.... Hey, I can think of a lot of stuff we can do with that kinda money, and that includes securing and DEFENDING our borders. )

I told you, I'm a bit wacky with some of my ideas. Stop blowing money like it's water. The DoD gets a nearly blank check, because if you oppose it... your anti-American.

I have no problem with appropriately reducing our defense budget. I'd like to see start with cutting out the waste and eliminating our presence in areas that do the US no service and only prop up the defense of others.

I would agree that the Industrial Military Complex needs a wakeup call. Ike warned us in his farewell speech about the very thing we now have. The tail is indeed wagging the dog when it comes to these companies and their influence on the Hill.
