I know many of you appreciate military history. This is a true story about a local man in my area that I would like to share. A movie should be made about the exceptional "Fred Norton".

he actually volunteered for the Canadian Air Force because America wasn't involved at first. The guy's back story is unbelievable. A true Hollywood script.

Thanks for that, Mach.
I remember hearing something about him a long time ago, but I had forgotten the specifics.

It is kinda spooky, that while I was reading this "Buckeye Battle Cry" came up on my i-tunes as I was listening.

It's kids like this, the ones who struggle against huge disadvantages, who ultimately develop character and integrity. Good read, thanks Mach.
