Nebraska is probably the best traveling fan base in the country. I remember a few years ago, they invaded Pittsburgh when they played Pitt. Half of the stadium seemed to be red.

Nebraska also has some of the most classiest fans you'll ever meet.

LOL look up some pictures from when Nebraska played ND in South Bend around 2000 or so. Literally 50% of the stadium was wearing red and the announcers even made several comments about it. Theres a good overhead shot of the stadium that I have somewhere that really shows how much red there was.

In all seriousness, Northwestern's AD was ridiculously excited when the Big Ten put them in the same division as Nebraska. They're getting a guaranteed sellout every time that the Huskers come to town (and so is everyone else in the conference).

Frank, I was watching the NIU-Illinois game on Saturday. ...Plenty of tickets available for that game. In fact, with so many Illinois tickets available, NIU should insist on a return game to Dekalb.

Even though Illinois is not in the same division, Illinois has to be happy about playing Nebraska. For all the advertisement that the Big Ten is the conference, Indiana, Illinois, and Northwestern have attendance issues.
