Two reasons for the "Wow" comment.
1) You have no idea how crazy it is for a Louisville fan to finally get to see a schedule that is predominately on a Tues/Wed - Sat/Sun rotation. Not having to scheduling around every horse and tractor show means we finally get to have a normal schedule.
2) 23 home games?!?!?!?! Seriously? 23? LoL, that isn't going to help our NCAA resume one bit but it will be nice for fans.

So that’ s what they meant by scheduling flexibility.
Twenty-three of the University of Louisville’s 31 basketball games this season will be at the new KFC Yum Center. Only eight games on the road all season long.
Coach Rick Pitino obviously wants to spend as much time in the new digs as possible.
“I’ve had the good fortune at both the professional and collegiate level to play in the best arenas in the country, and the KFC Yum! Center will arguably be the finest arena ever built,” he says.
No more of those extended road trips coinciding with the tractor pull championships, livestock exhibitions or rodeos at Freedom Hall. What a relief. The schedule is evenly split between home and away Big East Conference games in January and February.
U of L fans will have plenty of time to star gaze in the luxurious new arena in January once they get past Butler in the opening game Nov. 18 and UNLV on Dec. 11. The usual mix of non-traditional powers occupy the majority of the early schedule, with U of L playing 15 or its first 16 games at home.
Not so nice the Notre Dame game is scheduled at South Bend and the regular season ends with a trip to West Virginia.
