But the basketball court has been installed at the KFC Yum! Center, the new home of the University of Louisville basketball team. Yes, Denny Crum’s signature is already on the floor. Construction will be done, Oct. 10, with community tours to follow.

RE: Louisville's KFC Yum! Center set to open Oct 10th
Every time I drive by that, I feel so much pride considering all the things we had to overcome:

- Getting financing with this bad economy
- Getting pro-UK Frankfort to agree to it
- The bickering over the location (on the river is where it had to be)
- The guarantee that this was not a prelude to an NBA team, but rather this would be UofL's arena (UofL got a nice deal)

....this is simply the BEST basketball arena in the country, pro or college! (until someone builds a better one in a few years; LOL).
