Rivals announces its early Top 20 Men's BB recruiting classes plenty of BE...
http://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/c...ID=1126129

Big East Notables:
3. Syracuse
4. Louisville
12. RUTGERS (not a misprint)
18. Villanova

Not really sure if any stock should be put into it, but as a Rutgers fan I take it as some very nice pub on basketball for once.

That is huge for Rutgers to get a top 15 recruiting class. 04-cheers

LOL, I need to check my replies before I actually post them.

I meant Rutgers of course. 03-lmfao

Nice start for Rutgers...still early as any one of these kids could get happy feet...however, it looks like Rice could make Rutgers into an NCAA team.

Kentucky has a larger payroll than the Sixers.

UofL is a favorite for both Quincy Miller and Deuce Bello; if we get them we will rise more.

Our recruit Wayne Blackshear is way underrated at #32; he is top-10 material. He's a tough Chicago kid that has that "it".

Pitino is going into his 10th year here, and has only produced one Final Four. He knows his time is running out and is banking on that 2011 class.

BB is not a problem for SYR. Boeheim is getting his best classes right now.

This football thing is making me cry.

Pitino will return to the final four any year now. Maybe even this year. Louisville is solid.

As much as I'd like to think so, I simply don't see UofL being all that good this year (we'll finish 6-8 in BE) and I highly doubt we'll do much in the tourny.

I hope Cuse fans dont get too upset when they see how overrated Roc Christmas is.

Well if he has to ride the pine, we have a couple of guys to replace him who have experience. Either he will be good enough to contribute or someone else will. This team is very deep. I dont know if the Cuse has had a deeper team in close to 30 years that I have been following them. Thats also been a subect on The SU Scout board, how Coach B will be able to distribute playing time for the time that these players will be there.

If he's half as productive as the guy named Christmas who played for Temple- I'll be happy.

If he has half the career that X had for us, he did pretty well.

Though I believe we will be one of the top 5 teams in the league this year, I agree we won't do much in the tournament. One FF in 10 years don't cut it.

Everybody thought a loaded Kentucky team would roll over WVU too. At least that's one game UK won't have to forfeit after the academic investigation of Eric Bledsoe is completed, and he's finally ruled ineligible for all of last season... 03-lmfao

And another big commitment for Rutgers comes in tonight with Rivals 150 4 star guard Jerome Seagears out of Red Springs, NC. He also on the record mentioned another high-profile recruit was on the way for Rutgers but declined to name names. Man I hope these kids pan out for us, it'd be nice for us to start making the tourney on a regular basis again.

Seagers was seriously considering WVU, and I'm pretty sure Huggs would have loved to have had him. But them's the breaks. Rutgers is having a great recruiting class. Another great class like this, and Rutgers could end up becoming a force in The BEast...

We're talking about basketball and not football right? I feel like this is an alternate reality. Thank you pitt for getting rid of that abomination of a coach.

We are talking about Rutgers basketball. Football ain't the only game in town any longer, even though football's only been around for a very few years - if we're talking decent football...

Rutgers becoming good in both major revenue producing BEast sports seems like a fantasy... 03-cloud9
