Our defense is predictible. This is not good. Going to have a terrible year. Every team in the Sun Belt is better than us right now.

Maybe it was just one of those games.

I gotta give it to the SBC though... Tonight our teams fought with heart losing very close games. Would have been nice to see more Ws though.

I don't think I've ever been this disappointed in a win before.

yeah, but we covered the spread 2 weeks in a row, we were not blown out, I think we may be better than originally projected... minus the "give up" by coach (not the players).

We gave up 33 pts. to an FCS school. We got run all over in game #1. I think saying our defense could lose every other game for us is supported by empirical evidence.

One of our morning sports talk guys is fond of saying "small sample size".

I don't think you've seen enough to indict your entire defense.

Besides, you'll get well against us in Week 4, with our without Dasher.

Still don't know the status on Dasher. I think they said they expect to hear something this coming week. Damn University of Tennessee has got so many NCAA agents tied up with their constant violations they cant get to our case.

Oh, and our defense is garbage. We really miss our old DC Manny Diaz.

Teams are still trying to fix their flaws in week 2. MT could see drastic improvement next week. Even small personnel changes can make a huge difference.

Not going to push the panic button yet, but my finger is getting closer.

Minnesota was a bad matchup - one we won't see in the 'Belt.

APSU - well, we're not the first to flop to an FCS. And we did come out roaring, then looked like we got bored. We were up 28-3 in the mid-second - we might not want to believe it, but these are kids and they're prone to losing focus. On top of that, I would think we wouldn't do anything too far out of base defense and offense. Memphis and the 'Belt will see some different packages.

As a conference, we need to start converting these close games. MT is better than Minnesota, NT needs to put Rice away, Michigan State didn't appear much better than FAU, Troy and FIU have missed opportunities.

We're going to start winning these games sooner or later. I just want it to be sooner.

I was at the FIU game, FIU should've won that game they dominated Rutgers but found a way to lose with penalties and turnovers. I had a hangover from that loss.
