38-14 final. Very disappointing second half effort. Will only reinforce perceptions of USF/Big East inferiority in the state.

Didn't know Cuseroc was a USF fan 03-lmfao

Hung in for a while, Bulls. You'll be fine this year.

It definitely highlighted Daniels weaknesses. That's for sure...

RE: USF - Florida thread
Daniels made too many mistakes. He was trying to hard. I think it was obvious that with our depleted WRs and UF's very good DBs that passing was going to be tough. Our WRS had trouble getting any separation. I liked our running game. The int before the half and the fumble inside the 20
I think we will be ok this year specially once we ge Love and Griffin back at WRs.

Daniel's weaknesses SHOULD have been fully known to Holtz. He's a great runner, would be a perfect wishbone/option QB for a 1980s Oklahoma team, and can throw a decent bomb pass.

But as a regular QB throwing normal short and mid-range routes, he's dreadful even when he has time, and when he's pressured he makes terrible decisions with the ball.

Fortunately, he doesn't have to face Florida's defense every game...

quo
Yes he was not good passing but trust me our WRS werent giving him a chance either and he was trying too much.
As bit said the good thing is that we wont see any more D's like UF's their secondary had us covered all day.
It was a good sign that we where able to actually run on them with some success. But BJ still doesnt have the talent around him to beat a team like UF

Cuban, i'm not giving up on the kid by any means. But man, his throwing mechanics and decision making leave a lot to be desired right now.

They are working on it. But is hard for him when the WRs are not helping him at all. Today Bogan got an ankle sprain early and was out rest of game that meant we had a converted QB and a walk on freshman as our top two guys at WR and the UF secondary ate them up

Most accurate thing you've said in weeks....

With that said, I don't care who you play if you make dumb decisions against almost any decent team you are going to lose the game, never mind a Top 10 SEC team. Daniels needs to settle down and learn to play within himself. In high school he was known as an extremely accurate passer with a strong arm. Three of his interceptions yesterday he was running for his life and should have ate the ball. That's coachable.....and will come as he matures in this new offense.

RE: USF - Florida thread
I'm pleased with the way UCF didn't swamp this board (pardon the UF "swamp" pun), as I had feared. This was the reason of my approach this week. I'm glad it worked, but in the end, I could have been more diplomatic with it, and less "a-hole". So, my bad in that department (especially Cyber Bull, and anyone else). Write it off to crankiness...

I, for one, support the "a-hole" approach.

Back on topic. Was not a huge fan of Daniels last season. Not hatin', just reminded me of a million dollar set of legs and a .10 cent noggin.

With some USF fans, he's still running on the fumes of the FSU game. But those fumes are running out rapidly (already have for me).
