Hawai'i A.D. is looking very seriously into going Indy; 'says it will be tough but is doable'. This is the final nail if it plays out.


The $5 million buy-out to all other WAC members is now off the table according to Benson's recent news conference (La Tech, you listening). He will still go strong after Fresno and Nevada for the money.

Utah St. is in full melt-down mode, they can't believe they turned down the MW offer. Still some polly-anna's that feel a MWC invite is still a possibility, and expect BYU to go to bat for them (similar to the La. Tech fans dreams of bigger and better things). La Tech's superiority complex is still alive and well. Some are saying they should play football in the MAC and join the Missouri Valley for all else. There are some rational posters there, but they are few and far between.


That's about it for now. All in all, even if we do nothing, it's been a pretty good 72 hours.

From only a small sampling on the WAC board, they seem to think a move back to the belt would be fine. Question is, will they get an invite?
