I would hope the middle would be smarter than voting for those that put us in the ditch.
People might wake up and realize Barney Frank guaranteed us no housing collapse in 2005, and the Dems have bee in charge since 2006..

Democrats put us in the ditch. Another Obama lie. How long have Democrats been in control in Congress, driveby?
Can you PLEASE explain to me how the Democrats put us into this ditch since the right has had the White House much of the last 30 years? THis should be good. I am ready for a good laugh.

Yeah, it is all Franks fault! Give me a break. Are you ever going to pull your head out of that Buffalo snowdrift?

It's not all anybodies fault. I never said it was ranks fault I said that frank denied there was a problem while serving in a position of power over the agencies that were lending money to vastly underqualified individules. Clinton, Bush, Phil Graham and Barny Frank (among others) all own this.

I asked you a question, driveby. Answer it, Roberta. The president does not hold the purse strings of our gov't. Democrats put us in the ditch.

If you think the White House runs things when the other party controls Congress, you don't understand things very well. I've posted at length on the Democrats culpability in the housing debacle. I won't blame Democrats alone, and don't care enough to "compare"... but I sure as heck won't give them a pass. The more pertinent question to "who put us in the ditch" is what has Obama done about getting us out? So far, I've seen 3 trillion dollars in spending and much much more to come... and very few jobs. The previous Democratic Congress and Republican White House may have been the problem, but the current Democratic Congress and Democratic White House certainly doesn't appear to understand the question, much less have an answer.
I'll tell you what, Robert. Give the Tea Party, or some other form of TRUE Republicans control of congress for the next 30 years, and you can elect Pelosi President. I'd sign on for that RIGHT NOW.

Explaining in detail to "Box of Rocks Roberta" will get you nowhere. I try to not use any more words in response to his nonsensical BS than what driveby uses to begin with.

RE: Bumper Stickers for 2012
There is no issue that's worth me sticking something on my bumper. But how about a sticker that says "If you've been in Washington for more than 15 years, GTHO". I think that these lengthy terms are killing us because of the fact that they decide our grim futures, while they continue to sit with almost $200,000 worth of guaranteed salary and benefits a year.
This goes for both sides.

Saw a bumper sticker this morning with the following words..
It was white background though and did not have the pic of obama or the hammer and sickle.

I'm an independent and I'd gladly take bush over obama. It's really sad that I thought Bush was the worst president ever and now we have a worse one. =/

I see. Explains why I've never seen it before. I think the libertarian population of my area is about 3. The genuine conservatives in my area vote party line GOP to a fault, though to be fair most local GOP candidates in my area are genuine conservatives.
