The heat might have moved to a new level, but that hasn't slowed the progress of the new football stadium. The latest batch of pictures show significant changes on the west, north, and east side.

First off the rakers on the west side have been completed. Up next for that portion of the stands is precast concrete. The precast concrete will form the actual bowl of the stadium and will hold the seats.

Above the west side rakers you can see the club level starting to take shape. The club level floor is halfway completed and should be finished sometime next week. Also next week the first portion of the suite level will be poured

Progress on restrooms and concessions stands continues to make huge strides. In addition to walls on some of the west concourse, some of the stands already have a roof overhead. Progress on the north side restrooms and concession stands can be seen with all of the walls going up... and fast.

The east side stands are up next for rakers as that process is underway. Workers have begun to form the first of the east side rakers and they anticipate having approximately three rakers completed per week.

The field level has also been shaped up and is being used as staging grounds for the construction crew.

it's going to be nice, but one question and it may have just been the camera angle of one of the photos in that gallery, but how does the rise/inclination of the stands compare with the fouts stands. IIRC, there were always complaints from the north texas fan about the stands at fouts and how low the angle was that the stands rose away from the field.

Even though we have a very nice, kickass stadium...I'm still jealous.

Once we add a field-house and/or enclose the other endzone ours will be #1 again. 04-rock

Congrats UNT! Can't wait to see the finished product! We are all pretty excited at Troy with our Arena like you guys are with your new stadium!
