OT- Inception
So, has everyone seen Incepton? What did you think?

I thought it was definitely one of the best movies of the year if not the decade! I give it a 10/10! 04-rock

Keep dreaming. But then again, it might become a sleeper hit.

RE: OT- Inception
I walked out of Inception... honestly not knowing at all how I felt about it.

I felt exactly as I did the first time I saw a lot of Kubrick movies. Loved the imagery, but not really sure if I liked it, and yet wanted to see it again.

I thought it was awesome; that's the only movie where at the end all of the audience made some kind of noise, such as "aww or what!"

I agree. I can't wait for the next Batman. Oh and not sure if you've heard, but he is going to take over Superman once he's done with this last Batman. He's going to take it where the "Superman Returns" left off I think. I'm excited to see where he takes it!

I don't think anything he has done since has topped Momento.

All of the films I've seen made by Nolan were great, but I also think Memento was the best.

2008-The Dark Knight-writer/director
2010-Inception-writer/director

I've seen them all except for Doodlebug. There's not a bad movie up there, hard to pick a favorite for me, toss up between Inception and Insomnia with Dark Knight close behind. FWIW if you missed Insomnia I highly recommend it and they just released in on Blu Ray last week(I'm sure to capitalize on the success of Inception) I can't speak for the quality of the Blu Ray as I already own it on DVD so probably won't pick up the Blu Ray until the price drops or I can find somewhere that will give me decent trade on the DVD. Highdefdigest.com rated it "Highly Recommended" giving it four out of five stars on the movie, HD video quality, HD audio quality, and Supplements. If you're a Blu Ray guy and are unfamiliar with High Def Digest, definitely give it a look, they rate the overall disc from one to avoid, skip it, for fans only, rent it, worth a look, recommended, highly recommended, and must own. It's a good place to look before you drop $25-$40 on a new release, especially of an old favorite, because you might just find that the transfer was bad or whatever.

Nolan is quickly becoming one of my favorites, I think I'd now put him ahead of Wes Anderson, but still behind Paul Thomas Anderson.

+1 04-cheers

He is a fantastic director and he picks great composers (Hans Zimmer) to write the music! Like I said earlier he is taking over Superman once he's finished with the last Batman and I can't wait! 04-rock

Hanz Zimmer is a beast. Harry Gregson Williams is pretty good too.

RE: OT- Inception
Chris Nolan has turned into my favorite director of all-time. Anytime I hear of him starting a new film, there's this anticipation that comes over me. I literally cannot wait for the movie to debut.

Inception was unreal. You could take it literally that they hatched a plan to enter deep into someone's subconscious to implant an idea that spreads into a thought. Orrrrrrr, you could go with the idea that everything was done to plant an idea into Cobb's (Leo) subconscious for him to get over Mal.

I find that Inception actually had the same effect on the audience as it did in the movie. I feel that the movie could theortically implant an idea into someone's subconscious while you are watching the movie and possibly make you think that the world you are living in is nothing but a dream. And when a movie can make you think like that, you've got yourselves a fantastic movie.

Did anyone notice the eery resemblance between the look of Cobb and Chris Nolan?

Also, if the rumors are true, expect Joseph Gordon-Levitt to be in the 3rd installment of the Batman series!

VERY unlikely for 2 reasons:
1) Nolan likes to work with actors he has used in other movies (hence Cillian Murphy, Ken Watanbe, Michael Caine in Inception; there are a couple more examples in some of his older movies, but I can't remember off the top of my head).
2) Haven't we already seen Johnny Depp play the wacky character that wears make up and makes the same funny little comments to end a scene? Yea, a few times actually.

From everything I've read regarding the role of The Riddler, Depp isn't even in the top 10 as potential actors for the spot.

I heard a while back he already got it. Maybe they've changed the role since then... lol
