What all games are you going to this year?
Did this over at the World's Largest Troy Site, thought it would be good here too. I'll just go ahead and combine my two posts from over there.
As far as the Troy games:
Looks like 7 are definites, and 2 maybes for me. All 5 home games, plus UAB, plus FAU. MTSU is a possible, and North Texas maybe, but not likely.
Other College Games:
Alabama vs. Penn State. Dad told me last week he got us a pair of tickets. And maybe one other game during the year. We might go to the Alabama vs. Florida game too. He likes to go to 2-3 a year, and I'll tag along for 1 if Troy is away or on a bye week.
Pro Games:
Raiders @ Titans is a possibility. But we'd have to drive up that morning. Dad and I are Raiders fans. Eagles @ Titans on 10/24 and Redskins @ Titans on 11/21 are other possibilities.
We've also talked about a weekend trip to Biloxi, and heading over to New Orleans on Sunday for a Saints game. The Cowboys play there on Thanksgiving, and Tampa is there on January 2nd if we go down for New Years. And the Steelers are there on Halloween.
-----
Denton is one of those trips I want to make one year. This year starts the rotation of going to at least one SBC school each year. FAU was up first. Just happened that the original date worked out for us, and even after they moved it, it still worked. But I'm going to wait and go to Denton when the new stadium is completed. A trip to WKU in a future year and also tour around Bourbon Country is in the plans. And if they ever decide to play the Battle for the Palladium on a Saturday, that game is a definite. Until then, my limited vacation time prevents me from going. At least I get bumped up to 3 weeks next year. So in 2012 that shouldn't be a problem, even if its played at 3 AM on a Wednesday!
What I would love is to go see a game in Lafayette on a Saturday afternoon then there happen to be a Saints home game on Sunday since we'd be driving back through there anyways.

RE: What all games are you going to this year?
Used to live in Murfreesboro up until last April when I moved down to New Orleans, so seeing every home game of MTSU and the Titans just isn't gonna happen anymore
I will see MT @ UL this year (very excited, heard its a wonderful environment)
ULM @ MT
Eagles @ Titans Both in the same weekend, figured it would be a good time to get back to middle Tennessee.
Titans @ Dolphins (always catch 1 titans away game, never really been to Miami before either)
and maybe a Tulane game (work @ Tulane now...)

At least you'll be closer to see the New Orleans Bowl every year.

RE: What all games are you going to this year?
All 6 MT home games.
at Memphis, at Cajuns, at Georgia Tech, at Western
Will miss stAte (Tuesday on ESPN) and FIU away games. Might have to rethink FIU if I can get a deal on a plane ticket to SoFlo, which will be very nice on December 4th.
All Titans home games where there is not a conflict with MT road games.

Didn't realize that game was the same day as the Troy/FAU game. Sun Belt Party! I wonder when kick-off is. I might try to see a little bit of it. The Troy game is at 2 EST, so if that one starts a little later, we might ride over and watch some.

A great place to stay for FAU games is in Lauderdale By The Sea (town's name) at the Clarion (has a Damon's Grille and pool bar, and it's right on the beach). Stayed there a couple of years ago for $90 per night, or so.

We're booked at a Courtyard at Aventura Mall. I think it isn't that close to the stadium, but closer to the casino and looked like it had plenty of places we could walk to eat on Friday and Saturday nights.

The only Cajuns game I'll be able to attend this year is the game @ Troy since I'm at Ft. Rucker trying to learn how to fly. Hopefully I'll catch a few other Troy games too.

That would be great! You'll love Saturday nights at Veterans Memorial Stadium!

All 6 home games along with GA Tech, WKU, and Memphis. I will also attend the bowl game if we make it to one.

Not nearly as much as I did at Cajun Field .
I'll probably try to score some AU tickets too since my cousin retired from AU as the Dean of Vet Science a few years back.

Let me know when you are coming to the Troy games. You can come tailgate with us.
As for the original question the plans are to attend every Troy game so that leaves very little time for any other games. If I make a NFL game it will be a Steelers game somewhere close.

I went to ULL last year with the Sound of the South. I enjoyed Cajun Field (aka The Swamp). It was an intense game and ULL put up a great fight (unlike the rest of the Belt lol jk). The only thing I didn't like about Cajun Field was that annoying Hurricane siren they sound every time ULL gets a touchdown.

All home games.
@WKU, @Memphis, @Georgia Tech. Any bowl game.
Will more than likely make at least one of @ASU, @FIU, @Cajuns.

All home games obviously. UAB and MTSU with the Sound of the South. I'm going to try and make pepband so that I can go to the rest of the away games.

Also, I might have an extra ticket for a game or two, and you can come sit with me. My wife already told me she won't feel like going to all the games this year. Which has been the case every season, but she usually waits until about 2 weeks prior to the next game to tell me!

I'm hitting all the Cajun home games; plus Troy, Ole Miss, ULM on the road. Maybe one other road game as well. Troy is a lock, though, to see C4L Jr. lol

5 UL home games (stAte, MT, Okie State, WKU, FIU); 2 road games (UGA, Monroe). Girlfriend will likely make me go to one or two L$U games this season.
Oh, and then there are 8 Saints home games that I'll be attending too!
