Congrats to WKU and MUTS . . .
for being in the Top 5 for most economically efficient athletic departments.
Quote:COLLEGE STATION, July 8, 2010 – Kent State University of the Mid-American Conference is this year’s national champion of the Excellence in Management Cup, which is presented annually by Texas A&M University’s Laboratory for the Study of Intercollegiate Athletics.
The purpose of the EM Cup is to determine which athletic departments win the most conference and national championships while at the same time have the lowest expenses, Shane Hudson, director of the Laboratory for the Study of Intercollegiate Athletics at Texas A&M, said in announcing the 2010 results.
Kent State placed second last year. Rounding out this year’s top five are Western Kentucky, 2009 winner Utah State, Central Michigan and Middle Tennessee State.
the rest of the story.

Hey, don't feel bad. A muts guy didn't mention WKU when he put the news up on the Louisiana Tech board.

I didn't mention any other schools(SBC, WAC or anyone else) other than MT and Tech, but I have frequently mentioned WKU as a realignment package with MT.
However, another "muts guy" did mention all five Sun Belt teams when he posted this link yesterday...

Yep, I saw his post.:odie:
What reason would I have had to mention the other Sun Belt schools on the La Tech board MG? If I had, it would have just been perceived as me trying to make the Sun Belt look good and thereby insinuating they should join the conference, neither of which would be well received over there.
