Rand won Boone County -- Grayson's home county -- by nearly 40 points.

This is a near 2 to 1 shelling. BOOYAH.

Tim Kaine has already outlined the Democrat's strategy in the General Election-- trying to paint Paul as an "extreamist".

Lets see if Obama visits Kentucky to campaign for Jack Conway. I hope he does. That will be the political kiss of death for Conway.

I expected Paul to win, but that is an electoral ass-whoopin'.

I read a Salon.com article talking about how the top 2 Democrats had more votes than Paul in his landslide. Of course, it failed to mention that KY is a closed primary state with almost a 2-1 D-R registration difference.

Paul winning the election will depend on exciting the independent base in KY.

Rand is up 8-10 points in the polls.

One thing he mentioned is that Obama's position on coal is death for any democrat in eastern Kentucky. It's an odd state, in that the union members are coal miners, and they are all republicans.
