Was Dubya poisoned?

I don't know if Laura is just trying to sell books or if there is more to the story. I'm sure Rush or Hannity or one of those guys will be blaming Barry any moment now.

I find it hard to believe though. I worked at Rice during the senior Bush Economic Summit and security was incredibly tight. I don't see how anyone could get close to a kitchen with any type of poison. I just don't think he should have ordered out from Taco Bell while in Germany.

Come on. That is a cheap shot. Nobody will blame Obama.

Bush got sick. From this story, so did some of the White House Staff. Outside of bringing in a CDC Epidemiology Team, its difficult to determine the source. It could have been something on Air Force One.

Much ado about nothing. The staff became ill and his security staff investiagted the possibility of poisoning.

Lib media will have a field day with this insignificant item.

You don't think the Bushes are loving the publicity? Come on, no one writes a book hoping it doesn't sell any copies. The media also seems to be focusing on the crash Laura Bush was involved in that killed a classmate of hers when she was in high school. I don't think it's liberal or conservative media in this case - it's just sensationalism from the papers trying to sell some of their own copies as best as they can.

Hopefully, you are correct. But based on the history of the Bushes and the media I'm not willing to give the media the benefit of the doubt. Notice the two items they jumped on in this book? A tragic auto accident and death by a HS girl over 40 years ago and a non -issue with a dinner in Germany that happens to get most staff members ill.
