Sue Lowden(R) healthcare plan-barter
Bartering for doctor services is nuts enough but she suggests using chickens to pay the doctors! 01-wingedeagle The scary thing is that she LEADS Harry Reid in the polls. What the hell is wrong with Republicans? Are they all just completely insane?

Here are a couple of links. THe first is her comments. THe second is a humorous(well, at least to non-conservatives) video from Youtube. THe third is the Lowden medical plan procedure to chickens calculator(have fun! ).

Back up what Paula? THat she says that bartering with doctors is a good way to pay your doctor? She says it in the video. She talks about how they used to barter with chickens. Hence, she believes that bartering using chickens is a good idea.

She said bartering with doctors. She said people used to. She never said "hence". You and all your friend are throwing in "hence blah, blah, blah". Again, you got any thing to backup your first post "hence using chickens to pay the doctors"?

Do I really have to post the definition for barter?

I've bartered in the past. Even for medical service. I'm well aware of what it is.

One more time, can you back up your claim that she said pay doctors with chickens? You can't, so you shouldn't have started another false thread.

So what is your definition of barter?

Let's see, I've actually participated in bartering. There are bartering groups around and there are members who can pretty much eliminate cash from there lives. Check into them, burgers can even be traded for.

So. Barter is a good or service for another good or service? Sounds like a chicken for doctors service.

I'll ask again, what now, the 4th or 5th time, where did Sue say we should be paying doctors with chickens?

She said to barter. Since you admit it bartering doesn't involve "currency", then what do you barter with? She says chickens.

No she didn't. You just keep saying she did. Doesn't make it so. You should stop unless you can back it up.

She said barter. What does she want us bartering with if she didn't mean chickens?

Barter for labor. You fix my roof, I'll fix your teeth? Of course, you would have nothing of value to barter with. Well maybe your days labor for a bar of soap.

Yes. You pay sales taxes on it just like any other transaction. The problem I never figured out is if I trade you a steak for a hammer who pays the taxes?
