People are waking up
Does anybody else have this overwhelming feeling that the left's house of cards might just be crumbling down? They have exposed their bias in such a profound way by playing the race card over and over again. It has opened people's eyes to their f***ed up way of thinking, and they are finding that tea partiers are rather familiar folk. I know 2 of them. They are nice ladies with season tickets for Tiger basketball, and they certainly aren't racist.
Is the internet the new free press? I think the best thing to do is take the high road, and bring lots of camcorders to record everything that happens for police review. If anybody comes to incite anger or violence, then the truth needs to be visible on youtube for everyone to see. We can win this way, I think.
If the left gets really desperate, will they go too far? I'm nervous about this summer.

No. Just you rightie nutcases. The internet is not the new free press. Much of the info out there(from both sides) is spin and lies which pass as the truth.

No. Because lots of people really believe that stuff. And lots more are just as easily persuaded.

As opposed to the spin and lies spewed forth nightly on NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, etc. No wonder they are dying. Few rational people believe them any more. The stories that these networks ignore say far more about their agenda.
There are actual journalists on the net that break stories that would never get told if we left it to the usual suspects. I'm not talking about bloggers but actual journalists. Often, when these stories get lots of play on the net, it forces those others to at least mention them. In otherwords, stories from the net can drive coverage.
Robert, you can deny it but it doesn't make it so.

Call me cynical, but people won't wake up until they denounce the actions of both parties over the past decade or so.

+1
Republicans forgot to do what they promised to do, and got what they deserved. Unfortunately, the whole country will have to pay.

RE: People are waking up
The culture of "Yippee, Government Will Pay For It, Bail It Out, or Subsidize It!" is a frightening one. We've overspent, debt up the wazoo, and soon the chickens will come home to roost. Hopefully people are waking up to that reality.

Agreed. This whole right vs. left, Dem vs. GOP p*ssing match gets us nowhere in a big hurry.
Until the voting public starts demanding intelligent, results-oriented action from elected officials and holds them accountable, we will continue to get what we deserve as a country.
