Man, Robert, you are so simple minded. Make up your own "facts" or get them from "non-partisan" whack-job Rachel Maddow, it matters not.

I went to my first Tea Party gathering 2 days ago. You know what struck me?

How many smiles I saw on faces there in the gathering of all the "angry mob of terrorists." Something you won't often see at left wing protests. Smiles. You know, happy people in general. But make no mistake - these people are very concerned about the direction the country is headed. They can see that for the first time in our history, it is very unlikely that their own children will have the opportunity to have a better life than their parents.

Something the defenders of Obama don't like to talk about is how do you pay for all the spending that Congress and this administration are doing. You can't spend your way out of debt. Most of us know that from our own personal lives.

I actually watched a couple of shows where Maddow was supposedly connecting the TEA Party to Armey and the Kochs. Let's just say her arguments were far short of compelling. The absolute most that she might have established was that the TEA Parties and Armey and the Kochs agreed on certain issues; but I knew that before watching her, and Robert, that clearly doesn't prove your point.

I understand that the left can believe that there has to be some kind of astroturfing going on because (a) they simply can't comprehend that there are intelligent people who simply believe that their socialist agenda is a bad idea (and yes, it is a socialist agenda), and (b) they buy astroturfed protests all the time, so they naturally assume the other side does the same thing.

(see bold comment)This is because of the Democrats?? Do you really believe that? I knew you and the rest of the wingnuts won't believe these people are using you to further their agenda. You are uninformed sheep. Look up Freedom Watch. See who is chairman(that would be Dick Armey in case you didn't know). How about Americans for Prosperity. See who is chairman(that is David Koch). I know you probably won't watch it but here is a quick clip from RM for you. Please take a look and please leave an explanation. Thanks for your cooperation.

Robert, thanks for the link, that's one of the Maddow segments that I remember watching.

The problem with your argument, whether you're making it or Maddow is making it, is that it doesn't prove your claim.

What it proves is that the TEA Party stands for a lot of the same principles and policies as Freedom Watch and Armey and Americans for Prosperity and Koch. So what? I already knew that. I share a lot of the same beliefs and that's why I support the TEA Party.

That doesn't mean they're using or manipulating me when I go to a TEA Party. They're not. That doesn't mean that they are influencing me or my beliefs in any way. They're not. That doesn't mean that I, or anybody else I've seen there, would not have gone but for them.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm the one using Armey and Koch and FW and AFP and their money to push my beliefs.

Nobody cares that the Tea Party People are richer or more educated, what irks Progressives is that it mostly WHITE PEOPLE. No, better, it's FED UP WITH ALL PROGRESSIVE CRAP WHITE PEOPLE.

Their portrayal of tea parties is gonna always be that the only thing missing is the sheets.

Robert, do you have any FACTS to support those allegations?
They aren't allegations. They are facts. Do some research. I know you don't like Rachel Maddow but she has devoted a lot of time on the "grassroots" tea party groups and who is really behind them. Look it up.

Two words: "Who" and "cares".

Most people at Tea Parties neither know nor care who funnels funds and organizes these events behind the scenes.

BTW, that evil rich businessman David Koch is the same guy who donated tens of millions to performing arts centers, Public Broadcasting Service, cancer research, and the ACLU. His donation to the ACLU was to challenge parts of Bush's Patriot Act.

After we're done with this topic, maybe we can shift gears to the Socialist-Leninist groups that had their hands in organizing US Iraq War protests in 2003-04.
