Cilantro haters, it's not your fault
In the interest of further alienating us from each other, I present:

Quote:Food partisanship doesn’t usually reach the same heights of animosity as the political variety, except in the case of the anti-cilantro party.

You are either with me, or against me! Pick your side and learn who your true friends are.....

I hate cilantro.

That's funny, because when I first saw the thread title (before I saw the content), I thought "Who the hell doesn't like cilantro?" It did make me a little mad. I mean, it's what makes salsa great. WIthout cilantro, it's just tomato paste. I see a natural correlation between cilantro haters and terrorists/Communists/Fascists. 03-lmfao

My thoughts exactly.

I've never detected a soapy taste. Now, Arugula.......... that's another story. 03-lmfao

This is an issue that will push Texas towards independence. Damn cilantro-hating hippies. Anyone who can't handle simple fresh pico-de-gallo, well, there's just something wrong with you mutants.

"...cilantro aroma “has been compared with the smell of bug-infested bedclothes” and that “Europeans often have difficulty in overcoming their initial aversion to this smell.”

I'm not sure I know what bug-infested bedclothes smell like, but Europeans apparently do.

TexMex without cilantro would be like jalapeño without heat.

Alright Raider. Now we got us a movement.

And that's what it is , the Alice's Restaurant Anti-Cilantro Movement, and
all you got to do to join is sing it the next time it come's around on the
guitar.

With feeling. So we'll wait for it to come around on the guitar, here and
sing it when it does. Here it comes.

You can get anything you want, at Alice's Restaurant
Excepting cilantro
You can get anything you want, at Alice's Restaurant
Walk right in it's around the back
Just a half a mile from the railroad track
You can get anything you want, at Alice's Restaurant
