Obama did it again. Big Sox fan but called Comisky Park, Cominsky Park when on the Nationals Broadcast. He called it Cominsky Field last year when talking to Bob Costas.
It is almost as bad as Hillary Clinton becoming a Yankees fan after being a life long Cubs fan.

I have heard plenty of people from Chicago talk about "Cominsky Park".
As for Hillary being a Cubs fan and a Yankee fan, any Cubs fan will tell you that if Chicago had another baseball team, they would probably cheer for them too.
How has Hillary's lack of baseball knowledge hurt her political career? Sure, it gave Rush Limbaugh something to laugh at, but that's all.
Sports knowledge and bias is really the safest issue in politics. That's why Mayor Daley likes to make jokes and answer sports questions in his press conferences. It keeps attention off of the important issues.
I guess you might as well bring up that Obama threw out the first pitch at the Nationals' game, and he threw like a girl. So what! I do not mind having a president who throws like a girl. I just wish he did not govern like a Commie.
Obama is also catching heat because he couldn't answer the question of who his favorite White Sox player was. He could have thrown out any name, or stated that as a Sox fan, all the players were his favorites (that would be my answer). Instead he rambled and evaded the question, as if he couldn't name a single player that ever played for the team. It was a very odd answer, for a president that is pretty well versed in sports.
His response was just funny. He flubbed thru the whole thing and it had nothing to do with politics. If someone asked me about my Cubs, I would be able to answer quickly. He stumbled like it was a political question.
I just found it funny. Don't call yourself a fan if you can't answer easy questions.

Cut the Prez some slack. He didn't have a Teleprompter in front of him.

Or as some would call it, Comiskey.
I am a cubs fan. I could give a crap about the white sox.
I think he is a sox fan because he moved to the south side and it would get him votes. Also, Sox hats are more gansta than cubs hats.

How's that 100 plus years of losing working for ya

You must be oblivious to the fact ( no surprise here) that he's live in Hyde Park since he moved to Chicago. Hyde Park is much closer to US Cellular that wrigley. I'd bet the majority of Hyde Parker's are White Sox fans.

White Sox Marketing Department has been forward thinking enough to design WS hats of various colors and letter sizes. White Sox were one of the first to design a St. Pat's Day hat, WS were one of the first organizations to design a Pink hat with white letters to appeal to women. Brooks Boyer is doing a great job maximizing the experience at US Cellular.
Who really cares? Some people will find anything, and I me ANYTHING to complain about. The man is a casual Sox fan at best, it really doesn't matter. The fact that this thread was actually created makes me wonder if people have too much time on their hands. Barry Obama could probably womp Klake in a game of HORSE. He may throw like a girl, but his jump shot is as smooth as it gets.
Anyone from Chicago is "entitled" to mispronounce. Mayor Daley have you heard him butcher the language? Have you have heard your buddy say "Jewels"? My East coast buddy had the hardest time with how we end so many sentences in our speech with a preposition. Its Chicago....

Some people also say "Illinoise", "Jolliet", "Soldiers Field" and other mispronunciations because they are dumb.
Obama is mispronouncing the name of his team's stadium....pretty dumb.
