Mean Green win over Louisville

North Texas extended its winning streak to five matches when it defeated Louisville 6-1 on Sunday at Waranch Tennis Complex.
The Mean Green (11-5) dominated play from the beginning, winning all three doubles matches en route to the doubles point.
Catalina Cruz and freshman Barabora Vykyda-lova kicked off the scoring for UNT when they took down Louisville's Amelia Harris and Stef Villajuan in the No. 1 doubles slot, 8-4. Irina Paraschiv and Amy Joubert sealed the doubles point when they defeated Mandy Brown and Ann Van Arerde, 8-3.
In singles, Paula Dinuta extended her personal winning streak to seven matches when she handled the Cardinals' Ashley Irvin in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1.
Junior Narine Kazarova also extended her personal win streak to five matches with a straight set victory over Gabi Duncan, 6-4, 6-0.
