It sounds like the captured ones will be going to Kenya for trial. Bet they thought it might be a one way ticket to the U.S. I am sure they are eating, drinking and sleeping better in U.S. custody compared to their life as pirates.

They weren't attacking a US ship, they attacked a Sierra Leone ship that shot off flares and was rescued by Swedish and US ships. You honestly thought they were stupid enough to start shooting rifles and RPG's at a US military ship...?

To come to his defense, neither CNN or MSNBC mentioned this little tidbit. I don't know about Faux since I don't watch it but I would guess it was no different.

On comcast.net, they just said that pirates attacked a U.S. Frigate. I did not read any other updates except they sunk the boat, captured 5 and captured the "mother" ship. It is like the scene in the movies where two guys try to rob a bar and it is a cop hang out.
