Kinda been doing this for years in my field. Bad credit = no security clearance. You file BK with a security clearance, well, you might be able to keep a secret, but any TS with an SCI and you're pretty much toast. You're a hazard and that information is public knowledge. ...and our enemies have access to the same public knowledge.

I figured this story brought in many topics of discussion:
personal responsibility
gov't employment
gov't "job creation"
national security
unions
even the concept of bosses firing employees when they're down.

No easy answers to all of this, but I will say it's more undeniable proof that gov't isn't gonna be the answer to people's woes.
