What a crazy scene with the Hawks/Coyotes game, more Hawk fans in the stadium than Coyote fans. Some of this having to do with Sox spring training, but still what a sight, kind of has a college feel to it with so many away fans at the game.

And the Hawks, yet again, blow a multiple-goal lead and fall in a shootout. They haven't played nearly as well beginning the week or so before the Olympic break. The defense hasn't played well in weeks and the goalies aren't nearly good enough to bail them out.

They're still a good team, but they're looking very vulnerable right now.

It may have a little to do with the Sox(though, since they don't have fans here in Chicago, I can't imagine it was a big reason). The biggest reason is there are a HUGE number of former Chicagoans living in Arizona in general.

Yeah thats true too, I have never seen a scene like that for an NHL game before, that was pretty awesome.

Yep I heard about Red Wing games that were pretty much Detroit home games. For the last 10 years, the Wolves made huge inroads in Chicago hockey. If they hadn't put all their games on Comcast and now some Sat nite games on channel 50, no way does Wirtz put the Blackhawks back on WGN
