Listened to the game on the radio on the way back home from Hot Springs. It was picked up by Westwood One-- announcers kept saying "North Texas State"

Kinda like people call USA The University of Southern Alabama... What peeves a lot of our fans is when they call us South AL.

Congrats UNT - now go win a game and get the rest of us some extra money.

I'm glad mastri finally but together a championship caliber team in the belt, he has done it at every other stop along the way from the division2 days forward, but i am worried about next year - once the new arena gets open i think that will help him greatly, but for now he is going to have to duct-tape a team together next year and hope they stay together till years end - we may be lucky to hit the .500 mark next year.

I think next year will be a big year for SBC basketball, with ASU, FAU, MTSU all battling with WKU and UNT for the title. Troy will be lucky to be midpack and i anticipate USA will be back to a top level team as well.

MT loses a lot. We've got some impressive guys coming back, but we're losing a lot of leadership.
