SBC BaseBall Week of March 1st
MT spanks Southern Ill. today 17-4 in Carbondale. Our second baseman hit 3 homeruns.

SBC is still the #4 RPI conference in the nation, and are 47-23 overall. UNO has 5 of those losses.

RE: SBC BaseBall Week of March 1st
Guess our coach was right about UALR. He said they'd be much, much improved, and mentioned them as a darkhorse in the SBC.

Belt is going to be awful tough this year. No gimme's.

And UALR lost to a pesky Eastern Michigan team. EMU was ahead of the Jags Sunday 11-0 before the Jags came all the way back to win 15-14 and take both games over the weekend.

emu isn't bad but 6 games in 6 days took its toll, we lost a big stick in the first game, looks like he's gonna be out for a month or more. hope we can fill the hole and keep playing well. it will be nice to make a trip to the sbc tournament!!

SE La swept Mississippi State this past weekend and were ranked 29.
They also had their ace on the mound. Cajuns get Southern Miss for 3 at "The Tigue" this weekend.

Tight 2-2 game broken open by FIU's 3 in the top of the 8th, then Panthers hold on for 5-4 win.

Up next for FIU in the ASU-Coca Cola Classic: UC-Riverside today, Cal Poly SLO tomorrow and ASU to close it out.

Go Belt!!!
