Obama is succeeding
He wants to make all Americans dependant on government in one way or another. He wants to make you obligated to turn to the government to get health care, employment, pay for your monthly bills, etc.

This story shows that the country is heading in that direction.

Congratulations, Mr. President!

Congratulations, Mr. President!

This mess was steamrolling way before he got in office. I know a lot of republicans that aren't giving their unemployment checks back. And that one senator can stop bills with a filibuster is ridiculous.

Obama has been President for over a year, now, and everything is still Bush's fault. When are Obama and his supporters finally going to grow up, and take responsibility for their destructive actions? Wasn't the stimulus supposed to keep unemployment under 10%, or is that Bush's fault too?

I guess you're right. This is all Obama's fault. The deficit and recession are all his fault. He has had a year to turn things around. You don't think prior administration's decisions don't affect current events? You're probably right again. I'm just going to start hoping that the health care plan is forced down our throats by those mean democrats and the people rise up and vote for republicans in November. We really need the Republicans to have the majority so we can get some work done. But the Democrats are so petty, they would probably use filibusters to stop anything from getting pushed through. They would probably use politics because of their hatred of the other parties leaders to let any real work get done. The frickin unemployed don't need their monthly paychecks. They're all just beggars and lazy bums who need to work a little harder to get a job. And we shouldn't worry about the people without healthcare because who cares if they can't afford to see a doctor. The dems would probably write a bunch of bills and then when it was time to vote, vote against the bills they wrote because the republicans voted for them. It's not like the cost of healthcare isn't adding trillions to the deficit every year. Oh wait, the insurance companies are very efficient and don't make too much profit or put millions of dollars into politicians pockets. I'm really glad we are paying trillions to fund a war that we didn't need to get into. That stupid Obama shouldn't have started it. It's too bad Obama had his hand in the decisions made during the 80's that deregulated the financial industry and made it easy for company's and individuals to make billions and rip off the hard working people that gave their hard earned money with the expectation that the companies and their leaders were honest. I think I'm going to join the millions of d-baggers and go listen to Sarah Palin talk about patriotism! She really is going to turn the republican party around and make this country great again.

Congratulations Huskie Jon, you converted someone!

Congratulations, Mr. President!

You so conveniently overlook the 111 rethug senators and congressmen that voted AGAINST the economic stimulus package. But when the bill passed and checks were being provided to local government and non profit groups, the same scumbag two faced AHOLES turned out for the photo ops, handing out the big checks and getting their fat faces in front of the cameras. Handing out checks for a bill they fought and votes against. Rethugs are nothing but hypocritical corporate whores, pure and simple.

RE: Obama is succeeding
This financial problem has been going on a long time. Politicians(Republicans and Democrats) have used our tax money as ways to keep employed. Bush got away from fiscal conservatism and Obama is ramping it up more. I did not agree with Bush's spending and definitely don't agree with Obama's goal of a big government that gives us everything.
