No More Hummers
So you won't be able to purchase a Hummer... not an American one or a Chinese one. Being able to buy a Hummer if you wanted one was a truly an American status symbol. :tasha:

BLASPHEMY! Jeeps are STILL available. Besides, the old Hummer, that only came into civilian production due to Da Terminatah, hasn't been around for a while. Both the H2 and H3 are pieces of ****. 05-mafia

BTW, if I'm going mud bogging, I'm taking a Wrangler over an H2. You can take an H2, I'll just be sure to bring a tow rope. (Yes, I'm a former owner of a Jeep. a '95 2.5L Wrangler and a '97 4.0L, both 4WD).

Who said anything about getting rid of SUV's? As for the H2, I could take the vehicle I had before I bought my Silverado Z71, an '03 Tahoe Z71, anywhere an H2 could go and then some. It was also a helluva lot more comfortable.

I drove a civilian H1 once. From the the driver's seat I could put my right arm straight out towards the passenger and wasn't even close to touching him...

Hummers were nothing more than a shallow status symbol.

And if you truly wanted a vehicle which you would drive around the world, from what I've heard there are only 2 serious options: Toyota Land Cruisers, and Land Rover Defenders.

A Jeep Wrangler could do anything those could do. The Jeep helped win WWII.

Well, its what this guy claims:

http://www.usatoday.com/travel/destinati...orld_N.htm

Quote:There are not many choices when it comes to choosing a car for such journeys. In my opinion, only two vehicles can make it, Toyota Land Cruisers and British-made Land Rover Defenders. Both are tough, and you can find spare parts on all continents. Others, including American makes, are good quality, but you can't find parts everywhere. Land Cruisers are used by the U.N. and other non-governmental organizations around the world.

Did anybody else look at the title and think about another type of Hummer? That would be like canceling Christmas.

Attach the hydraulic driven snow blower and it'll freakin CLEAR the mountain road for your jeep.
