Barack Obama and the democrats are going to raise your taxes. They won't tell you, I just did. When the Bush tax cuts expire every tax bracket will see a tax increase. I would not mind the tax increase IF the democrats RULING this country would also roll back Gubment spending to the pre-tax cut levels.

I doubt mine will go up. If you make under 250,000, yours likely won't go up either. You actually believe their won't another bill to keep the taxes for those under 250,000 at the same rate(heck, it might even be lower)? You are living in a fantasy world.

$250K? I thought it was $200K? Or was it $150K? Obama/Biden said all three on the campaign trail. And, yeah, it's not like Obama has ever lied before...

Robert, you are the one living in a fantasy world. There aren't enough people making $250,000 or more to pay for what they are doing. There aren't enough people making that much money to make the numbers work. And the ones who are around won't stick around to get screwed on taxes. Then what do you do?

And if your boss makes over $250,000, when the tax impact hits him, he's probably going to fire somebody to save money, so he can pay himself more to cover the tax increase. Suppose you are the one he fires. Tell me, how are you better off then?

LOL! I could not resist! I'm surprised no one is talking about this looming deadline. Maybe the Republicans are going to wait till October to drop this bombshell on the democrats since most Americans have forgotten about this. I adjusted my withholding way back so I would not get accustomed to the higher monthly take home. I have had some nice refunds, because I know if it were in my monthly take home I'd really struggle when the rates go up.
