I realize that Newfoundland is a small province, but why would the guy turn down a free Toronto chest cracking? I bet they could fit him in some time this year...

Another reason why we want to copy Canadian health care.

You know that WHO study that ranked US health care 30th in the world? It dates from 2000. And Canada was 30th.

And I've seen two recent (2008 and 2009) studies that included Canada and 30 or so European countries. Canada ranked 23rd in both. After costs were considered, to put things on a "bang for the buck" basis, Canada finished dead last both years.

30th best in the world, 23rd best in Europe. Yeah, that's worth spending trillions to copy. Way worth it.
