The Tebow Super Bowl Ad

You live your life how you see fit. So Tebow's mom went against the advice of her Dr.'s and had Timmy. Great! You had a "choice" and you took it. Now other families have the "right" to make the other side of that choice and terminate the pregnancy. If one family wants to go through and take a child with a chromosomal disorder the farthest they can take it. That's great. You have that choice.

Murder isn't a choice, it's a crime.

Regardless of your position on abortion, free speech is a right that is clearly spelled out in the Constitution. And, this isn't entirely about abortion. This is about whether or not he's even allowed to voice a muted anti-abortion message.

RE: The Tebow Super Bowl Ad
last year there was an ad like this featuring Obama they refused to run, it was a good ad. anyway, most of the country realize its murder now and are pro-life thanks in large part to modern Techonology making it clear and basic science hitting home.

Left wants to be honest with themselves, just say you beleive that some humans have Property Rights over Other humans(those in a womb) and can do as they please with them and you have zero problem with a Multi-Billion Industry spawning from it.

You are seriously opening yourself up saying some stupid **** like this, Mach. I'm not sure you want to see where it'll head.

It's not going to open up anything for me. You don't think that equation has went through my head? We made the choice. We have lost half of our income, but it's well worth it. I can't make that decision for another and neither should anybody else.

...but you want my healthcare completely f'ed over and taken over by the government because "your" choice depleted "your" savings. Where am "I" in that equation, Mach?

It is not a direction I wanted to take, but it's the most expedient direction to hopefully make you see "our" point.

RE: The Tebow Super Bowl Ad
and on the flip side the "Pro Life " crowd wants to bankrupt people who may not want to make the decision my family made. I think it boils down to that. and........................ what percentage of people who do decide to go the abortion route do it for that. It's probably single mothers who are mostly going that route. That makes "ME" personally even more pro choice. Hell my boy in S. Carolina sounds like he's mandatory choice by starvation. How do you square that round peg?

Actions have consequences, Mach. No one is trying to bankrupt someone for having a child. People have been having children since the beginning of time. It's not some new fad.

Reb,

I can't see how your Libertarian leanings can allow you to make the argument here. I think deep inside you can see that. This decision has absolutely no place in govt. State, Federal, Municipal, it's just shouldn't be in that realm.

The ad? Or abortion? If abortion, why? Can I walk up and snipe someone in the parking lot? No? Why? Because he's a human being and we have laws on the books about murder? Exactly.

You just don't see a child in utero as a human. I do. If they aren't, how'd we all get here?

I'm just going to leave it here. We've had that debate about when life starts.

I think it starts when there is brain waves in the fetus. I could see offering protection then, but both sides get so damned caught up in their tug of war neither side will concede an inch.

Take an RU-482. Don't wait for the child to have a developed heart and brain before you suck it out with a vacuum cleaner.

Interesting that you support RU-482.
