Was at the game, 20-21k to 8k or so is an accurate breakdown. Not much of the ticket master sections were showing red, and certainly not enough to stick out in any particular area.

ESPN was massaging things at best, I think. I have pictures of the crowd somewhere around here and can post later. All the middle and upper decks were solidly black/gold.

I still have no idea why they didn't open up the other side of the stadium. The seats didn't look all that bad to me. Probably an attempt to spur demand / get press, I guess.

It is what it is...for UCF they were playing up to an opponent.
For USF the perception was they were playing down to an opponent.

Bottomline: I think Rutgers did the best job of all.

As I watch the initial bowl games, it seems that a scrambling qb will take a team a long way. UCF, it seems, has never had a good qb since they have been in CUSA. You cannot give up two interceptions to a good team like Rutgers and hope to have a chance to win. Congrats to Scarlet Knights, obviously the better team.
