OT The sports world could really use an "O'Reilly Factor"
I'm a big fan of Bill O'Reilly because he works hard to report accurately, isn't afraid to admit that he makes mistakes, and presents you with more than one viewpoint on an issue. He also goes after people who abuse their power regardless of their political affiliation or whatever else. He routinely thanks his viewers for supporting his show. I wish a sports journalist would put together a show like "The O'Reilly Factor." Too often do I hear one-sided reporting from some of the ESPN talking heads and other parts of the sports media.

True. O'Reilly at least occassionally has people on his show that he disagrees with.
Olbermann just surrounds himself with bobbleheads. The one time during the week where there's any chance someone might disagree with his opinion is on Sunday Night Football.

Speaking of...what does this have to do with football again?

O'Reilly in sports? So he can make up scores and games that never happened? Accuse teams of cheating when it was actually the other team that cheated?

Yes, people who disagree with an argument detailing the fairness of a political pundit would all prefer the same thing of the opposite view point. Great straw man.

That's one option, I guess. Rome's show doesn't come on during prime time, though, does it? I'm hoping for someone who would command a little bit bigger audience.

Not, it's not "occasionally." He has people he disagrees with on every night. That's why the show is so successful . . . it allows for people with various points of view to come on and debate issues. I think more sports analysis shows need to have that kind of debate. Wouldn't you guys like to have the views of non-BCS conference fans equally represented along with those of the BCS conferences?

Give me an example of where he made up something that never happened.
