Just ridiculous. The NCAA needs to bring back the death penalty.

RE: Unlikely to Stop Cheating
There is talk of linking all investigations, which could lead the NCAA to determine a lack of institutional control. But I seriously doubt they'll slap the Pac Tin's big time program that hard. It'll probably all lead to probation, without any bowl restrictions...

What happened to the investigation of Reggie Bush benefits? Didn't Bush got paid $300K while playing for USC while his family received multiple benefits?

RE: Unlikely to Stop Cheating
I don't know how they couldn't find anything against Reggie Bush, but they he's no longer a college player and the NCAA has no power to force him to come in so they can't interview him.

There was a lawsuit by Reggie Bush's potential agent that they provided all the benefits to Bush's family on his behalf in return for Bush be their client once he graduated. He screwed them over by signing with someone else. Now they are suing him so I have no idea what is the status of that lawsuit.

Why stop when you can continue to get away with it?

Btw, it's about 200% obvious that McKnight is receiving improper benefits; This sleazy businessman said that he paid for the Landrover, because McKnight's girlfriend's family would not get approved for a loan, and that she makes $500 a month payments. Somehow, if someone is in that type of situation, it's pretty obvious that they should be looking for a cheaper, older car, not a freakin Landrover...U$C is a complete joke.

When I saw the title, I figured it must be about the SEC.

He gave McKnight's girlfriend the car so she would give it up for him...

Leave McKnight for the sleazy businessman, or give the car to McKnight? LOL

The cheating ain't helping. USC has 3 players academically ineligible for their game against BC. Two were all Pac Tin starters. One was the backup DT...

Three ineligible for Emerald Bowl

And McKnight did not travel with the team as he has "paperwork" to take care of back in LA.

Is he having trouble in school too? Or is this legal paperwork he needs to take care of?

RE: Unlikely to Stop Cheating
Its not just USC. Did you see the article about Tennessee having "ambassadors". These "ambassadors" just happen to be very attractive women who try and sell the school to recruits.
I would be surprised if this does not go on at a lot of the big time schools like Alabama, Florida, Texas, Michigan, and Ohio State. Its only cheating if you get caught and so far they have not gotten caught yet.

I guess Tennessee is doing what it needs to do. Its cut throat in the SEC. They are all trying to one up the other and bend rules to get the advantage. I suppose no one can let up because the other schools will take advantage of them.

RE: Unlikely to Stop Cheating
Tennessee fans says it's a tradition that was started by Alabama. But according to longtime UT fans, everything that's wrong with the SEC can be traced to Alabama and Bear Bryant...
