I am glad someone from the SBC can beat an SEC team, we have had two chances so far and did not look very good in either chance.....We have two more tries and at this point not very confident we can stay within 20 points in either game.....

hahaha, you are so right. soon as i read this thread i txted my friend who is a lifelong Auburn die-hard (even though he's a Troy graduate...that d!ck). he didn't care because it wasn't football. he said Auburn sucks at basketball anyways, and no one cared.

Typical Auburn or Bama fan.....

troy won this game on shooting the ball well. kudos to them. delk and hazzard were as good as any players i saw in the belt last year.

that said, it will be hard for troy to be successful in the sbc tourney or ncaa tourney if they get there until they learn to play defense and i've never seen it out of them since they've been in the conference. i don't know if maestri even knows how to coach it.

when their shooters are on they will be able to beat anybody, but when hazard is struggling with his shot like he was earlier they will struggle.

all of that said, it is still sweet to go into an instate 'big boy' school's gym and beat them there.

I think Troy should've beaten GSU. Troy did much better in that tournament than GSU and should've won it imo.

GSU was the better team that day though and deserved the win either win.
