We need a good snowfall at the Rose Bowl and/or Orange Bowl.

That would have a big impact.

I think most of the gang-bangers went back to New Orleans.

It has more to do with a football game tomorrow than anything else.

I guess I should have realized this. Warm air pushed into the arctic from Eurasia. That's what slowed the arctic ice growth (which was significant this year). But, if warm air is pushing in, then the cold air has to head somewhere.

And since the climate panic people like to talk about feedback mechanisms, remember, more ice and snow reflects solar radiation. And if that ice and snow is at lower lattitudes, it reflects MORE radiation than it would at the arctic.

We've got a cooling feedback mechanism going on. This past decade of minor cooling isn't stopping.

I was going to comment but decided to avoid calling you guys stupid again(hey, it is an early new years resolution). I heard about the storm a few days before it occured and I knew Dr BUGS and others would make uneducated comments on the subject. I was just surprised Dr BUGS didn't start the thread.

Just hope that this storm doesn't cause any fatalities as you boys aren't used to driving in snow much less this early in the year. [/i]
