Sumlin, I believe, would be a great fit. He has a lot of similarities to Brian Kelly as far as coaching, and maximize, even going beyond, the talent that he has. He is probably a poor man's (from a financial standpoint) Mick Leach in that regard.

I think the Cards would be wise to grab a coach who has southern ties. Sumlin would have a lot of work to do to build such ties. If he's a great salesman, he might be a great hire. Kelly is a salesman. Sumlin I wonder about. He doesn't seem to have that kind of infectuous personality...
