Great game, and excellent effort by WVU to pull off the upset.

RE: The Brawl Game Thread
I guess from a conference perspective (getting 2 BCS bids), we should root for Pitt next week, because Cincy would still be a decent shot to get an at-large bid.

Not likely, but possible.

I have to agree. We stood a chance with two 11-1 teams, but last night's loss ends that. They will use the excuse that Cinci couldn't beat a 2 loss Pitt team with the conference title on the line.

I was pretty sure that would be the case again. Whenever Wannstedt has had a chance to get over the hump, he loses his balance and falls. It's his karma. It sucks...

Now the best thing for The BEast is for UC to beat Pitt next week. It will make UC look all the stronger. I'm sure Pitt won't lay down for the Bearcats, though. But if UC loses to Pitt, it will diminish what has been a great season for The BEast...

However, even if Pitt wins next weekend, at least we've finally convinced the media that we play some really good football. Hopefully, we'll get some respect in next season's preseason poll. I doubt that we will. But you never know...
