The talking points were in the 90's when Hillary tried her push profits were at 5%. Today it is at 20%. I'll see what I can find. I know I heard something like that on a Sunday talk show.

Give me a ******* break, Mach. You might as well start quoting Stormfront or Alex Jones.

The insurance companies are quite profitable. But health insurance is not where they are making their profits. That's coming from life and other products. In the bigger picture, I'm not sure how they allocate costs among the various product lines, so that divergence may or may not mean what one would think it does.

That tactic is not solely used by the Democrats. Don't get me wrong, I think they're a bunch of weak-kneed bed wetters, but the Grumpy Old Party has used that same tactic plenty of times.

And, of course, the KKK has always employed it!
