It was hard to bite my tongue
This past weekend I went to the Auburn game (my sister and brother-in-law are alumni) and Sunday morning ran into a very public figure at a Starbucks in Auburn, Alabama.

About two minutes after I sat down, I looked at the table across from me and noticed that none other than Robert Gibbs, White House Press Secretary, was sitting there having coffee with a friend. He was very nondescript, didn't have a big entourage, and I don't think anyone other than myself noticed him.

Fortunately for him, I was a tad hungover and didn't have my usual quick wit (most of my good ideas on what to say to him came on the ride home).

That said, it was pretty cool to see such a public figure at a random Starbucks off the highway in Alabama. So, if you would've been in my shoes would you have said something to him, and if so, what?

Here are some of my ideas:
- Your boss is an idiot and is ruining this country
- The administration you speak for is amateurish
- Newsflash, you're not on the campaign trail anymore
- Did you catch Friday's episodes of Glenn Beck and Hannity?

I also wish I was wearing one of those "NObama" or "NOPE" tshirts as well.

Damnit, missed opportunity.

I would have said:

"Hey Bobby, is the reason you haven't yet resigned in embarrassment because you're trying to get as much info as you can for a tell-all book about the worst administration this country has ever known?"

"Guess lying is a prerequisite for the job."

"Good morning Baghdad Bob."

"Roger Ailes is paying you to boost FOX's ratings, isn't he?"

"I see you like a little acorn in your coffee."
